Cockpit Carpet Installation:
Now that the heat/sound insulation was installed, it was time to install the carpet kit. You start out with the rear wheel wells and the rear wall taking care to make holes for the roll bar:

Next was the carpet for the upper and lower trans tunnel. I also noticed at this point that my hands/palms we starting to look like a 13 year old boys!

Next up were the footwell kick panels:

I then proceeded to install the side wall carpet taking care to make room for the door latches:

Now it was time to put in the floor carpet. On the passenger side, I needed to make a hole for the e-brake handle:

I then finished off the foot boxes by adding the carpet on the firewall and floor mats:

This was my first ever carpet installation. It wasn't as intimidating as I thought. Carpet glue is much more forgiving than I thought it would be. I made some mistakes along the way but found it fairly easy to repair them. This isn't a show carpet but it will get the job done.
