9/21/2006: Back in the saddle
After 6 weeks of being stuck in the middle of the engine install due to an incorrect x-brace and transmission mount, I am finally working again on the car. Turns out the x-brace and mount that was sent to me were for a different engine/trans combo. So the engine is back out, I am working on items for the final installation. I also have ordered my drive shaft, getting my headers and side pipes coated and installed my fuel filter. I will be finalizing items on:
1.) Engine: Remote Oil Filters, Headers, Trans Mount
2.) Frame: Fuel Filter, Rear Brake Lines, Front Tires/Rims, X-Brace drilling/painting/installation, clutch slave mount fabrication
3.) Final Engine Install: Engine/Tranny mounted to frame, hooking up fuel line to engine, oil filter, paint scratches on the frame, hook up clutch slave mount
